Easterly | Murphy follows a philosophy focused on capital preservation. The team is small and nimble, with 100+ years of combined experience and a straightforward investment style that began 30+ years ago as the OppenheimerFunds Rochester Municipal Bond Team.

Easterly | Snow employs a contrarian, fundamental, relative value investment philosophy, believing that risk-adjusted returns can be earned by constructing diversified portfolios of good, financially strong companies with depressed stock prices resulting from temporary difficulties. The philosophy is contrarian not only in its focus on out-of-favor stocks but also because it depends much more on an estimate of a stock's future relative P/E ratio than on the E.P.S. forecast.
