Tom Aitken

Tom is a Senior Vice President of Private Markets Sales at Easterly, responsible for building and diversifying Easterly’s portfolio of Alternatives Solutions.

With over 19 years of experience in alternative investments, Tom has a proven track record successfully raising capital and delivering tailored solutions to private wealth and institutional investors globally.

Tom joined Easterly after four years as Director of Portfolio and Client Services within UBS Real Estate & Private Markets division of Asset Management. At UBS, Tom focused on business development and relationship management across all segments of the US institutional market. Prior to UBS, Tom was a Director of Business Development & Investor Relations for Geneva-based Unigestion where he focused on expanding the firm’s private equity, public equities, and liquid alternative strategies to US institutions. Before Unigestion, Tom spent over 12 years as Managing Director with private market placement firms Bright Harbor Advisors and Thomas Capital Group. At these firms he advised and raised capital for venture capital, private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources funds.

Tom received an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut, a M.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.A. from Trinity College. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
